Like anything new and exciting forming new habits takes some trial and error. But most of all it takes persistence. That is the lesson I learned with Twitter. 140 characters once or twice a day how simple could that be I thought. Well come to find out it wasn’t as easy as I thought. That is how most people start I think. Then when it isn’t what they had assumed or as easy breezy as they thought they give it up. When in the end, if they stick with it, twitter can boom an online business! So carry a notebook around your neck if you have to. As you think of things throughout the day (and night) that would be a good tweet for your business twitter page, write it down.
The same can be said for Facebook statuses, and other social media like linkedin, myspace and foursquare. It doesn’t have to be strictly business all the time though. Break loose and have a little fun with it. Case in point is the Geico gecko. So don’t get discouraged, and think like a gecko!!
